It is the intention of The Philips Center for Health & Well-being to conduct research and provide insights into how people in different countries approach their health and well-being and where we differ across the globe. We believe this understanding will enable us to focus on improving the lives of people around the world. We want to take action to help people, communities, health care systems, governments, and future generations address the critical issues surrounding how we live, how healthy and content we are, and our own roles in those dimensions of our lives.
The Livable Cities think tank has identified three important and interlinked ingredients to guide successful urban transformation: Authenticity, Inclusion and Resilience (AIR).
The citizens of Tokyo, Amsterdam, Jakarta, London Abu Dhabi, New York, Delhi and Beijing give their perspectives on health and well-being in this second edition of the Insight Series.
The Insight Series shares the work-in-progress of the think tanks through illustrating a snapshot or a concept.
Unpacking the themes of resilience, inclusivity, diversity and authenticity, a reflection on Livable Cities.
